Change is constant, that statement is undisputable and
everything must run its course. Before the “craft beer” craze and food blogs
there was “Lovejoys”. This is one of
those iconic dirty sixth bars that brewed its own beer, attracted a mix bag of clientele,
and screamed punk rock. On a good Saturday night the curb was lined with vintage
motorcycles, café racers, and local metal heads. The interior always had a few interesting
pieces of art and ice cold pictures of beer. Sadly it closed down this fall and
a little bit of the old guard died along with it.
